Join us down by the Mississippi River for "Weather-ing: the secret sound of f" for a ritual between women and water, June 25-26 @8pm at Prairie Island Campground, Winona, MN, Dakota land.
The 2024 McKnight International Choreographer Residency is hosting Thessaloniki-based Lebanese American choreographer Meryl Zaytoun Murman in Minnesota, in partnership with Winona based dance/interdisciplinary artist Sharon Mansur and her creative platform, The Cedar Tree Project.
The Winona portion of the month long residency culminates in the premiere of two site-specific, outdoor performances Tuesday, June 25 & Wednesday June 26 (Raindate Thursday June 27) at Prairie Island Campground. The performance includes a cast of Winona-based dance and interdisciplinary artists and will embrace the beautiful natural setting along the Mississippi River banks at sunset.
