Paul Reeve is a historian who has helped excavate and tell the stories of William and Marie Graves, an African American couple who joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1911 in Oakland, California, and remained faithful members of the Oakland Branch throughout their lives. Highlighted in "Saints, Volume 3" and the Century of Black Mormons project, the Graves's courageous, pioneering spirit continues to inspire us to to gather all to Christ in Oakland. Please join us for this special evening with Professor Reeve. This event is co-sponsored by the Oakland Stake, and the Oakland Stake's chapter of the Genesis Group.
