Judy NIEMACK divides her time between New York City and Berlin, where in 1995 she became Germany's first Professor of Vocal Jazz at the Jazz Institut Berlin. Judy performs and gives masterclasses both in Europe and the USA, returning frequently to New York City, her home since she moved to the Big Apple in
1977. She has taught vocal improvisation for 50 years. Recent releases include her 15th album, "What's Love?" (Sunnyside), and “Voices in Flight” (GAM) with vocalist Jay Clayton. Her fifth educational book/CD, “Hear It & Sing It! Singing in Tune” was released in 2023.
Cameron Brown is a celebrated jazz bassist with a career spanning several decades, marked by collaborations with legendary figures and contributions to both performance and jazz education. He began his musical journey on piano and clarinet before settling on the bass. Early in his career, Brown worked in Europe with innovative artists like George Russell and Don Cherry. Later, he became a key member of the Don Pullen/George Adams Quartet and played with jazz greats such as Art Blakey, Sheila Jordan, and Chet Baker. Brown has been involved in over 200 recordings and has toured internationally, earning recognition for his melodic bass lines and versatility. Beyond his performance career, he is an educator, teaching jazz double bass at the Green Meadow Waldorf School and giving private lessons. He also teaches at the New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music in New York City
