In Undesirable Secrets, Rodolfo Alvarado brings to life the gripping true story of Anthony Acevedo, a Mexican American WWII medic and Holocaust survivor—one of 350 American GIs secretly sent to Berga, a Nazi slave labor camp. What Anthony endured there was horrific—but what he survived before Berga, at the hands of his own father, is what truly haunted him.
Told with raw emotion and piercing clarity, this one-man play dares to ask: What truths do we bury in order to survive?
