Join us for "Tom's Elton Tribute" - A Tribute to Elton John starring Tom Cridland on Friday, June 28, 2024 at 7pm!The world’s number one Elton John tribute band is coming to Scranton for one night only to play all the hits by Elton John!
Get ready for a night of all the hits by Elton John including “Bennie and the Jets,” “Tiny Dancer,” “Candle in the Wind,” “Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me,” “I’m Still Standing,” “Crocodile Rock” and “Your Song.” The band will also be playing classic album tracks like “Funeral for a Friend / Love Lies Bleeding” from Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, the multi-platinum double LP released in 1973.
Tom Cridland, playing the part of Elton John on lead vocals and piano, is close friends with Elton John’s drummer, Nigel Olsson and has recorded songs and episodes of his Greatest Music of All Time Podcast with Elton John’s guitarist, Davey Johnstone. Tom has even met Sir Elton himself, the man who Tom credits with helping him recover from alcoholism.
You won’t want to miss this show! The level of attention to detail in recreating the music and fabulous costumes of Elton John and his band is simply unparalleled.
Tickets are $30-$40 and can be purchased online at www.thetheateratnorth.org or in person at the box office: Tuesdays 11am-2pm, Wednesdays 11am-2pm, Thursdays 3pm-6pm, and on the night of the show starting at 5pm.
