"The Veil" is a ceremonial masquerade celebration, where we come together to honor our ancestors, protect ourselves from malevolent spirits, and connect with the spiritual realm.

In ancient Celtic tradition, October 31st marked the festival of Samhain, a time to celebrate the end of the harvest season and the beginning of winter. It was believed that on this night, the boundary between the living and the dead blurred, allowing spirits to walk among us. This tradition eventually evolved into the modern-day Halloween festivities we know today.

At "The Veil," we will pay homage to this ancient tradition with a candle light ceremony, a protection ritual, and a temple dedicated to our ancestors. The masks we wear are symbolic of the costume of flesh we all wear every day, concealing the divine spark within each of us.

**The Temple of Remembrance is a sacred space to light a candle for your ancestors, bring a picture of someone who has moved to the afterlife, or offer anything else in honor of those who have transitioned to the next world.

**When you enter the temple, you must be masked. If you do not have your own mask, we will provide one for you. Venetian masks are provided, but we highly suggest you come with your own mask that you have chosen for your self-expression of the night.

**Ticket Tiers: There is no difference in the ticket tiers. The last ticket tier represents the actual value of the event. We offer more economical ticket tiers to provide support for those who need it. Please purchase the ticket that you can truly afford and leave the economical tickets for those who require them.
