About this Event
Each festival culminates with the annual Exploratorio concert that premieres a new major work written and performed by N.E.O. composers and singers. All participants are performers, and as such the Exploratorio teams with creativity flowing through shared community. Past Exploratorios include “The Origins Of Creativity”, “The New Morality Play”, and “The Passions”.
The 2022 Exploratorio “The Signified” opens creative windows into the dual worlds of meaning making and authenticity. N.E.O. artists will grapple with the influence of signs and their interpretation on arts, culture, and society, and craft musical responses that inspire vocal artistry to illuminate life experience.
