Friends of Okura Bush is excited to announce Rowan Nicholson as our guest speaker on 21 July.
Dubbed the ‘Ruru Guru’ by fellow bird enthusiasts, Rowan has become renowned for his beautiful photography and ground-breaking footage of our native owl (the ruru).
As wildlife photographer, gaming animator, storyteller and biodiversity advocate - Rowan’s story has something for everyone.
Rowan will share insights on life as a wildlife photographer, the secret to capturing the perfect shot, how his work is supporting biodiversity, and how he helped a ruru from Okura become world-famous!
