"The Pansies Faked the Moonlanding" - a show by The Pansies Band

The Pansies are a Berkeley-based alternative rock band with jazz and folk influences combining covers with lyrically driven original songs. The name is a reclamation of a traditional gay slur as a statement to the queerness of the band but also the band’s mission of continuing to broaden the genre.

Some musical inspirations include No Doubt, Bob Dylan, Blondie, King Gizzard and the Wizard Lizard, and Maggie Rogers. The Pansies got their start by playing gigs at the historic Bowles Hall, a residential college at UC Berkeley during fall of 2023, and the group currently consists of Bella Sonen, Caleb Marsh, Ian Watson, Max Cope, and Sahana Moogi.

Tickets are $20 general admission; $15 for students with ID. Children under 12 are free. Advance tickets are available here, or if the show is not sold out, you may purchase your tickets at the door before the show.

Doors open one half hour before show time. We accept cash or Venmo only at the door.
