About this Event

NABJ-Chicago is excited to invite you to a book party celebrating the release of Dr. Ian Smith's 25th book, THE OVERNIGHTS, the third installment in his Ashe Cayne mystery series based in Chicago. He has generously chosen to celebrate this by making the evening a fundraiser for the scholarship fund of NABJ-Chicago, helping young African American students who are studying to become journalists. All proceeds from the book will be donated to the scholarship fund.

From Dr. Ian: "I got my media career start with this organization many years ago while a medical student, and I want to give back so that a new generation of students might have the assistance and opportunities that I was afforded. Please join me in this fun evening of mystery and celebration and philanthropy."
