"The M Factor 2: Before The Pause (Perimenopause)" OUTDOOR movie night
About this Event
The M Factor 2: Before the Pause (Perimenopause)
Come join us in Oakland for a casual outdoor movie screening of the new documentary featuring Dr. Amy Day, founder of The Women's Vitality Center, as one of the experts exploring perimenopause, the often-ignored transition phase before menopause.
“Before The Pause” dives deeper than ever into the untold realities of perimenopause and its profound impact on women's health, careers and relationships. Building on the success of its predecessor, "The M Factor" (about menopause), this film focuses on the misunderstood years (mid-30s onwards) when symptoms like brain fog, low libido, night sweats and sleep issues can start, aiming to provide earlier education, reduce stigma, and empower women+ for better midlife health.
Limited space so save your seat today!
Not in perimeopause? This conversation matters for everyone whether you're experiencing symptoms now, want to prepare for what's ahead, or want to live your most vital life after menopause. This is also for you if you want to know more about how to support someone you care about who's going through it!
Through candid personal stories and expert insight, the film explores why early awareness and preventive care are essential, and how this moment represents a turning point for women’s midlife health and sets the stage for long term bone, brain, heart and sexual health.
