"The Feasts of Tabernacles, Ingathering or Sukkot was one of the 3 original feasts and festivals that God instituted and required as a sovereign act of worship, fellowship and community. The Feast of Ingathering commemorates the Israelite's 40 years of wandering in the wilderness after their exodus from Egypt and celebrates the year end harvest and God's provision and protection. It is a promise to prepare for the coming future with a posture of expectation for God's SUPERNATURAL PROVISION! From King Solomon to Jesus Christ, both attended and respected the "Feasts of Ingathering"; as it is the only feast that welcomed everyone (jew and non-jew) to this pilgramage of faith. Although we are thousands of years in the future from when God iniatiated this gathering; we are being reminded of it's prophetic impact and implications, as we look forward to the return of our Lord Jesus Christ and the end time move of His Holy Spirit in the earth!"
