Salt Lake City Public Library | Salt Lake City, UT

TEA FOR THREE: Lady Bird, Pat & Betty is an Off-Broadway one-woman show which has played to audiences in 30 states now. This highly acclaimed play will be presented as a hybrid event with a filmed virtual performance followed by with a live talkback session over Zoom with the star and co-writer Elaine Bromka.

Warm, whimsical and deeply moving, TEA FOR THREE: Lady Bird, Pat & Betty offers a behind-the-scenes look at three of our First Ladies – Lady Bird Johnson, Pat Nixon, and Betty Ford.
In this time of deeply polarizing politics -- the show reaches across the aisle to humanize the arena, allowing audiences to stand in those women's shoes. An Emmy Award-winning New York actress for more than 30 years in film, television, Broadway and Off Broadway, Elaine Bromka developed TEA FOR THREE with playwright Eric H. Weinberger to explore the female perspective, after impersonating eight First Ladies opposite Rich Little in the play The Presidents.
This event will take place in the Main Library's auditorium.
