"Sickle Cell Disease... Let's Talk About It" Family Fun Day

Sickle Cell Partners of the Carolinas (SCPOC) invites you to join us for an afternoon of fun and engagement at "Sickle Cell Disease… Let’s Talk About It Family Fun Day" on Saturday, September 10, 2022 from 1PM TO 5PM at Midtown Park in Charlotte, NC. Patients, families, and the community at large are welcome to attend this event for FREE as we celebrate the month of September as Sickle Cell Awareness month.

During the pandemic, like many organizations, we put our in-person events on hold. Our signature day conference, ”Sickle Cell Disease… Let’s Talk About It” has been revamped to offer some of the same great topics and fun activities that many in our community have come to expect from SCPOC in an open-air park setting.

Please come and enjoy the company of other sickle cell warriors and families who share YOUR journey living with sickle cell disease. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets for:

Get uplifted in our caregiver's corner. Enjoy ice-cold snow cones, have your kids get their faces painted or pose for a session with our caricature artist. There will be giveaways of SCPOC swag as well as other items.
