👧🧒 Who Can Join: Youth ages 5–16
💲 Cost: FREE to the public
🎣 Equipment: All fishing gear and bait provided
🐠 What to Expect
Participants will learn the basics of fishing, including casting, baiting, and identifying local fish species such as sunfish, bass, catfish, and more. It’s a perfect opportunity to learn, explore, and enjoy the outdoors!
✅ Earn a TPWD Basic Angler Education Certificate upon completion
✅ What to Bring
Comfortable clothes & sturdy shoes
Sunscreen, hats, sunglasses ☀️
Water and snacks
⚠️ Important Notes
Adult supervision is required at all times
Fishing is catch and release only
