Dear Friends and Art Enthusiasts,
You are warmly invited to our upcoming Art and Poetry Event: "Sacred Art Spaces," a deeply inspiring art and poetry show dedicated to exploring the sacred, spiritual, and meaningful facets of our existence. This event will feature a curated collection of local artwork that delves into the profound and the divine, inviting each viewer to reflect and connect on a deeper level. Each artist featured is sharing something intentional and personal. All of our art is sourced locally from your very own friends, family, and neighbors.
In this time of AI art it is imperative to remember that real art comes from hands that wield paint brushes instead of keyboards. Art comes from tired fingers sketching out ideas faster that minds can keep up. Art is sharing little morsels of your soul. Art is having something to say but no words to say it with. While AI gobbles it all up just to regurgitate it back up in less than a minute. Art is connection. Join our sacred art space and support real arts. Together we can remind others that art is so much more than a google search or some CHATGPT rendering. Art elicits feeling, memories, hopes, and appreciation. Come remind yourself that art is not just for the eyes but for the spirit.
In addition to the visual feast, we are thrilled to host an open mic poetry session, inviting poets, spoken word artists, and anyone moved by the spirit of creativity to share their voices. This inclusive platform will begin at 3pm and welcomes all expressions, whether spoken , sang, or read, as we celebrate the power of words to inspire, heal, and unite.
Join us for an afternoon of inspiration, connection, and community. We look forward to welcoming you to a space where art and poetry converge to illuminate the sacred within us all.
Perfectly paired with our art exhibition we will have live music, live art, a tarot reader, and lots of yummy locally sourced refreshments.
As you all know well enough, times are tough. This is the first event we are asking for a cover charge. Our little local shop thanks you for your understanding. $3 will allow you all access to viewing our art room, access to all refreshments, will enter you into our door prize giveaway, and one free entry into our big art raffle basket!
