About this Event
On Sunday, Oct. 24th, the Balzekas Museum welcomes poet Rasa Stefanija Miliauskas, author of "Rytmečio Rasa / Morning Dew", a new multi-art book featuring Miliauskas' poems as well as photographs and illustrations by the author's sister, Dalia, and their father.
The book is dedicated to Rasa's parents, who fled Lithuania during WWII. The book is published in English and Lithuanian. Although mainly in English, the presentation will include poetry readings in Lithuanian. (Book signing after the presentation)
Admission: Suggested donation ~ $8 | Seniors ~ $5 | Museum Members and Students ~ FREE! Museum Memberships may be purchased upon check out. Although tickets will be available at the door, the Museum requests that attendees preregister for the event and consider donating toward installing live-streaming capabilities in the Museum's ballroom. That way all Museum programs can be broadcast and viewed online.
If possible, the presentation will be recorded and subsequently available to view on the Museum's Vimeo Chanel by anyone who registered for the event but could not attend in person. Should live-streaming become available by the event date, all registered ticket holders will be notified and will receive a private link to the live-stream broadcast.
