About this Event

It's New Year 2015 in Rotterdam, and Alice has finally plucked up the courage to email her parents and tell them she's gay. But before she can hit send, her girlfriend reveals that he has always identified as a man and now wants to start living as one.

Now Alice must face a question she never thought she'd ask . . . does this mean she's straight?

Directed by Vancouver veteran David C Jones and starring the up and coming artists Kai Solano, a non-binary actor as Fiona/Adrian, Clara Nowak (Alice), Marlee Spicer (Lelani), Kevin T.S. Vun (Josh).

Written by Jon Brittain, an Olivier Award-winning playwright, comedy writer and director who was born in the northwest of England and grew up in the Netherlands,

The play is a fascinating - and very funny - examination of the labels society puts on people. But more importantly, it's about the labels we put on ourselves. Brittain's script successfully combines laugh-out-loud humour and heartfelt emotion to tackle a serious, complex and extremely current subject - London Theatre 1
