Rewilding Archetypes: Epigenetic Memory and Women’s Lived Experience After a Century of Wars
This forensic traumatology presentation examines women’s lived experiences in the aftermath of a century of wars through arts-based cultural oral memory. Integrating Jungian depth psychology, biopsychology, and the Blood & Honey Icons deck, it
reframes archetypes as biologically responsive, eco-embedded forms that emerge through ritual, food, image, daily-life practices, and communal regulation.
Danica Anderson, PhD, is a social scientist and forensic traumatologist, and founder of the Kolo: Women’s Cross-Cultural Collaboration. Her work integrates Jungian depth psychology, biopsychology, and social epigenetics, grounded in fieldwork
across the Balkans, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, India, and Sub-Saharan Africa with women war crimes and conflict survivors.
