Friday, June 14th is the premiere of "Psycho Beach Party" as it starts its limited theatrical run at The Matrix Theatre in West Hollywood! Starring Drew Droege, Sam Pancake, Pete Zias, Daniele Gaither, Roz Hernandez, Chase Rosenberg, Karen Maruyama, Thomas Hobson, Daniel Montgomery, Adrian Gonzalez, Harrison Meloeny, Michael P. Mc Donald, and Sami Klein. Surf’s up and murder’s afoot! It’s GIDGET meets MOMMIE DEAREST meets JOHN WATERS!
Picture it, Malibu, 1962 and a teenage girl named Chicklet desperately wants to be part of the surfer crowd. However, multiple personalities stand in her way - and they’re all in her head! And Chicklet’s most dangerous alter ego? Ann Bowman, a sexually voracious vixen hellbent on world domination!
Mischief, madness, the pursuit of the perfect wave - and man - come crashing over the audience as this beach blanket bingo goes Hitchcockian bonkers. Turn up for the suspense, stay for the camp, and run screaming with hilarity. It’s a Psycho Beach Party!
