Pearls of the Orient” is a Jax Filipinos @jaxfilipinos Takeover of @dtjax Sip & Stroll - A multidisciplinary presentation of the past, present and future of the Philippines and Filipino Americans! This will be an experience featuring Live Art, Music, Dance and Education!
The SouthBank RiverWalk with areas featuring the Past/ Pre-Colonial Philippines, the Present Day Filipinx local art scene and Filipinx Futurism: A vision of the future of Filipino Culture!
There will also be a celebration with a “90’s Throwback” party around the Friendship Fountain!
Local Filipino vendors will be selling goods as well as local Filipino food trucks and restaurants.
