This year’s FACN features a theatrical play, detailing the lives of two Filipino best friends. Pamayanan follows the friendship of Jordan, a mixed Filipino-American, and Renee, a third-generation Filipino-American, as they navigate their cultural differences in relation to familial upbringing, social interactions, and their individual understandings of Filipino-American culture during their summer break.
