Pale Relic

In Pale Relic, Christine Dahl Helweg-Larsen reimagines fragments from antiquity — a sphinx wing, a Kore hand, funerary vessels — through 3D scans, sculpture, and mirrored surfaces. Inspired by Homer’s vision of the body and soul as inseparable from the world, the works reflect on thresholds between life and death, memory and transformation, ancient and contemporary ways of being, and the fragile images of souls painted on white vessels.
