Boone, NC – May 30, 2025 — Watauga Humane Society is excited to announce a special community event, “Pack the Pallets,” in partnership with Purina and Walmart. This donation drive aims to gather essential pet supplies and raise funds to support animals in need.

Date: Friday, June 13, 2025
Time: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Location: Walmart Supercenter, 200 Watauga Village Dr, Boone, NC
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet some of our adoptable dogs and engage with knowledgeable staff ready to answer questions about pet adoption, care, and how to get involved with the shelter.
Donations of Purina products are encouraged, but all pet supplies purchased at Walmart, as well as monetary contributions, are gratefully accepted. Every donation directly benefits the animals at Watauga Humane Society, providing them with food, shelter, and medical care.
