Join Northern Dutchess Symphony Orchestra for a program inspired by the universe, space exploration, and some of the most memorable music associated with the final frontier.
The program opens with Strauss’s "Also Sprach Zarathustra," famously used in the opening credits of "2001: A Space Odyssey." From there, explore the cosmos through Julie Giroux’s "Blue Marble" and Mason Bates’s "Mothership," visit our solar system’s largest planet with "Jupiter," and enjoy themes from "Star Trek," "E.T.," "Superman," and "Star Wars."
