Prayer changes more than circumstances—it changes us.
Are you ready to explore prayer more deeply and differently? Using the Lord’s Prayer as our guide, this discussion-based class led by Rev. Tom Howe will explore not only what we pray for, but how God invites us to participate in the answers to our prayers. Together, we will create a safe space to share both our joys and frustrations with prayer while growing deeper in our relationship with God. In preparation for the study, take some time to write down if you pray and, if you do, when you pray, what you pray for, and how you have participated in the answer to your prayers. Also, if you have the opportunity, take some time to read Adam Hamilton’s “The Lord’s Prayer” (limited copies are available from the church office, or it can be found on Amazon or Cokesbury).
