You'll dive into two distinct approaches to long form improvisation: Organic Improv, where scenes unfold naturally without pre-planned ideas, and Premise-Based Improv, where strong, clear ideas form the foundation of each scene based on an opening.
Learn to build scenes from spontaneous moments or start with a structured idea, all while enhancing your performance skills.

ABOUT PAUL 📜
Paul is an improviser based in Johannesburg and is the founder of The Assembly Improv South Africa.
He has studied improvisation and sketch comedy writing at the Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB), The Second City, The iO Theater, The Groundlings and The Annoyance Theatre. He has also studied clown at Ecole Philippe Gaulier.
He is currently completing his PhD in applied improvisation at Wits University and has given workshops (almost) all over the world.
