Pre internet, pogs, tamagotchis, ring pops, brown lip liner, furbies, TMNT, SNES, TLC, BSB, waking up at 2am to a TV of softcore poarn, snow static, vertical color lines with a long beeeeeeeep, or long CD album commercial ads? Remember coming in when the street lights turned on? ...

Then come to the Legion Lounge and relive the good old days with performers who were actually alive in the 90s! With punk rock, 90s glam Drag Kings, Queens, and Things for two hours of chaotic, 90s music, with 90s people. And if you dont show up, well then i guess we can expect to see you as a photo on milk cartons across the nation...

📍This event happens at the Upstairs Legion Lounge at 2205 Commercial Drive (and on the unceeded ancestral lands of the Coast Salish Peoples. Please respect the lands we are priveleged to live, work, and play on, and uplift our indigenous friends and neighbours).

This venue is a 💰CASH ONLY💰 space 🚫💳(ATM on site, downstairs in the main hall). BUT!!! has literally the cheapest drinks in town, with a wide assortment of beers, cocktails, and for the sober folks, alcohol free bevs.. our chill bartender Holly, has you covered! 🍸🍹🍻🍹🍸

Oh, one more thing!! While food is not served here, you ARE allowed to bring your own. Got snacks, wanna order pizza??? go for it!🍕🥨🌯🥨🍕 (all beverages are required to be purchased in house tho)

♿️The venue is upstairs, and a chair lift is availible for use if needed. (if you are a wheel chair user, this chair lift is available for your person, but isnt able to lift your wheelchair. If you have friends or helpers who are able to carry your chair safely up the stairs, and you're able to use the mobile chair lift, let the door person know, and space will be cleared for you to navigate safely). 🚽There are two washrooms upstairs, with stalls, and are inclusive of all people. 🪑🪑Seating is available, with some tables included. All is first come, first serve, but standing room is availible!
