Lindsey Bender from "Field and Forest" in Peshtigo will introduce these “fun guys” and lots of different ways to grow them. Even those who have dabbled in mushroom cultivation will learn something new. Field and Forest's mission is to provide superior mushroom spawn, cultivation supplies, expertise, and education to inspire people to grow mushrooms either at home or commercially using environmentally and economically sustainable practices. If you so desire, you are also welcome to stay for our business meeting at the conclusion of the presentation to get a feel for how our club operates.
You need not register in advance but if you could let us know (in the comment section below) that you are coming, it would be helpful for seating arrangements and so that we can personally greet you.
This presentation takes place at Calvary Lutheran Church, 2580 W. 9th Ave., Oshkosh, WI. Please enter the Calvary Church building on the East side of the building, door #2.
The building will be open at 6:00 pm if you care to come and have some social time before the presentation. Our club meetings are a great opportunity to chat with fellow gardeners, learn new information on a wide variety of interesting topics from community speakers and give your input for our upcoming events and community projects.
