Weekly on Mondays at 7:15pm at The Marlene Reid Centre in Coalville, starting on 19 January. I'm running a gentle movement class combining selected, soft movements from tai chi & qi gong, with relaxing music, to settle the body & mind. No steps to memorise. No getting down on the floor. First class free, so you can come & see if you like it. £4 after that. Parking close by.
It's designed to help you unwind, & move comfortably, - to be a restorative sanctuary.
Tai chi is known as "meditation in movement". In my class we use the movements, but take away the need to learn choreography, - you just do what I do, one movement at a time. We use qi gong movements in the same way.
Fantastic for stress, excellent if you want something calmer than a gym class. Improve strength & balance, get back in touch with the calm you.
Great for beginners. It's mindful. It's soft. It's grounding. No fitness level required.
