Join us at the Washington State History Museum for the chance to view the Makers on the Tide on the big screen and learn more about the making of the documentary from filmmaker Mick Flaaen and historian Michael Sullivan. Makers on the Tide tells the story of how Earl and Floyd Willits brought their passion for boatbuilding to Tacoma after growing up in the Midwest and slowly built their business from a small shop on Tacoma’s waterfront to a canoe manufacturer with customers around the world. This screening is free with registration.
