Join us for the return of Vancouver based street artist Lupo, for his third solo exhibition "Love,Lupo" hosted at The Well Studios at City Centre Artists Lodge.November 8th | 6 - 10pm

“Love, Lupo” - is a love letter to the city of Vancouver, and is the highly anticipated follow up exhibition to "Erasure" and will feature a brand new body of work; including paintings, drawings, sketches and Lupo's coveted #belovedghosts sculptures.
"Love, Lupo" is a living memorial to honour the lives of the 1000’s of youth we have lost to the ongoing opioid crisis that continues to haunt our city.

ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Lupo is a self taught street artist who has a complicated history of migration and displacement. He began his journey of using art as a cathartic tool in 2020. Lupo's practice encompases a wide range of mediums including painting, sculpture and installations.
Lupo has left dozens of his #belovedghost sculptures at various locations throughout the city. The ghosts are made in memoriam of the youth we have lost to suicide and overdose.
His art is both a reflection and voice of the streets and our ongoing opioid crisis.

ABOUT THE CURATOR:
Kirsten is an independent curator who's out of the box curatorial style pushes the boundaries of the traditional gallery model. By allowing artists to explore the creative realm outside of white walls and bright lights, she encourages them to go deeper, creating unique experiences for the viewer as well as the artist.
Kirsten discovered Lupo early on in his career and his been a steadfast guide and support for him and his artistic practice, "Love, Lupo" will be their third exhibition together.
