"La Perla" Weekend Cultural Experience

Join us - Saturday and Sundays - 5:00pm- 7:00pm

La Perla as a neighborhood, has seen dramatic change in the past years and with a vow of confidence we will be aiming at helping the community through the impact of responsible tourism.

IMPORTANT:

*Please plan transportation Accordingly (access to Old san juan can be a hit or miss on the weekend)

* This is a 18+ experience.

* We highly suggest wearing comfortable shoes. (The topography is hilly but definitely worth it )

* There are community guidelines in place and these should be respected and followed during the tour. Failure to comply with these rules are subject to the removal from the activity at any point of the tour (no refund applicable).

* Please ask your hosts where you are allowed to take pictures.There are very beautiful spots that the community is more than willing to share with the world, but must be respected at all times. **We must remember this is a new place for you, but this is a home to others**

With the help of our partners we have designed a route to facilitate a very FUN and SAFE environment in your stay in La Perla.

Our meeting point will be: "Palmas el rincón de Paco" 281 calle San Sebastian Old San Juan, a newly renovated restaurant with wide spaces and a great Puerto Rican offerings in food and music. Here you will receive a complimentary rum-punch. (Time here: 30 minutes)

Shortly after the group is gathered, we will begin our descent into La Perla through Carmelo Anthony's court

Arriving Around 5:30 pm we will head into our second location: "Pasito a Pasito"

(This was the Place where the worlwide hit by Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee , Pasito a Pasito video was shoot , the video counts with over 7.7 billion views in youtube)

Here you will enjoy LIVE MUSIC BY SOME OF THE BEST PUERTO RICAN LOCAL BANDS, offering authentic beats such as ( bomba, plena, rumba, and salsa among many others depending on the day) Time here: 1 hours.

Pasito a Pasito , has a wide variety of offerings of food and alcohol for your enjoyment, along with some specially crafted discounts for our participants.

Around 6:30 well head out to our last location :

La Terraza de la Perla

In here you will enjoy views of the Atlantic Ocean as the sun sets over the city.

in here you can pick from a variety of beers as their complimentary drink:

Those wishing to remain after the activity is over are more than welcome to stay past the time following the community guidelines .
