Do you enjoy fiber arts such as crochet, knitting, embroidery, weaving, or punch needling? Are you interested in learning such a hobby, or just more about them? Come socialize with people that share a similar interest. Feel free to bring a project to work on, or just hang and chat. All skill levels welcome, so don’t be afraid to come with questions to see if someone is able to help you out. Also feel free to check out the books we have available on crochet, knitting, or knooking.
If you aren't into fiber arts, but have a crafty hobby you'd still like to enjoy while socializing in a welcoming atmosphere, feel free to still come join!
If you are wanting to learn crochet and aren’t sure where to start, I am happy to help teach and we have basic supplies to get you started ($5 for a basic aluminum hook and yarn, or $15 for: sample swatch, small notions bag [contains stitch markers and yarn/darning/tapestry needles], soft pencil case [contains basic aluminum hook, ergonomic hook set, folding travel scissors, travel retractable measuring tape, and sample swatch] all in a drawstring project bag).
Remember to let the bartenders know you’re with us for $2 off your first beer or cider. Also, with Catch-A-Fire having opened inside the brewery, outside food and snacks are no longer permitted in West Side Brewing (though there is an small exception for dessert items, such as if someone brings birthday cake, brownies, etc. to celebrate an occasion) See less
