About this Event

This story has been told from many perspectives, however, Rasool Berry, director and film host of “Juneteenth: Faith and Freedom”, tells of the historical relevance of this moment in time from an ecumenical point of view.

The unscripted documentary uniquely displays the history of this holiday as told thru the narrative of direct descendants of those who were newly liberated in 1865.
