"Junction Triangle" Walking Tour

Explore this west-end neighbourhood, defined by the railway lines that border it, that was once home to thriving industry, transportation routes, and immigrant communities. Today, it is one of the city’s emerging hotspots and is undergoing major urban redevelopment.

Start Location: Perth Square Park (350 Perth Avenue)

End Location: 128 Sterling Road

Length of Tour: Approximately 90 minutes

Distance and Terrain: Approximately 2 kilometres, mostly on city sidewalks and some non-paved urban parks.

Registration is required for all tours. Please note: you will not be able to join a tour group if you have not registered ahead of time.

This tour relies on a loudspeaker sound system. For over 25 years, our goal has been to share Toronto’s history and showcase its architecture, spaces, communities and cultures with as many people as possible. We continue this commitment by providing these accessible tours and ask you to support this work by making a donation when you register, or on the tour. Charitable tax receipts will be issued for donations of $20 or more.

Our staff and volunteers will be at the tour's starting location 30 minutes prior to each tour. Please arrive at least 5-10 minutes prior to the start of the tour to allow time for check in.

We are excited to host in-person tours this year and ask for your help and patience in making the experience as safe as possible for everyone. All tour events will follow Toronto Public Health guidelines and Heritage Toronto safety measures. Tours are held outside and masks are recommended for all participants. Masks will be available on the tour upon request.

Tour Refund Policy: We can accept refund requests up to 5 business days before the tour date. We cannot accept refund requests based on weather. All other requests will be assessed on a case by case basis.
