"Inside Out" by Bîstyek
Bîstyek is a Syrian-born artist living and working in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Bîstyek's art is inspired by his life as a Kurd growing up in Syria and his family's experience of fleeing their country and living as refugees in Lebanon; and finally moving to Canada.
"Inside Out" let's us into his inner world as he remembers the people along his journey.
Featured are over 50 hand-drawn portraits large scale acrylics on canvas and mixed-media sculpture.
