One minute she’s managing everyday chaos, and the next she keeps stumbling into situations she never volunteered for and definitely did not expect. Each time she thinks she knows what she’s walking into, she’s wrong. Again. And again. And again.

What begins as a series of awkward, inconvenient moments slowly turns into something more meaningful. As Mila navigates confusion, conflict, and responsibility she never signed up for, she discovers that purpose doesn’t always come with a warning or a plan. Sometimes it shows up uninvited and asks something of you anyway.

Funny, thoughtful, and unexpectedly moving, this story explores patience, courage, and what happens when someone ordinary chooses to show up, even when they feel unready, unqualified, and completely out of their depth.
