💛 Welcome to Hey SAATHI Frisco 2!
Hey SAATHIs! We’re excited to welcome you to the very first gathering of our newest Hey SAATHI Frisco 2 Circle! 🎉
SAATHI means friend, companion, or partner and that’s exactly what these circles are about: creating a SAFE, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space where adults can come together for honest conversations, connection, and community.
And we’re kicking off this new circle with a conversation many parents will recognize:
💭 “Because I’m Your Parent!”: When Our Children Start Challenging Us
How many of us heard “Because I said so!” growing up…and how many of us have caught ourselves saying some version of it now? 😅
As our children grow, they begin to question us, disagree with us, challenge our decisions, and develop their own voices. When is it disrespect and when is it actually part of growing up? How do we hold boundaries and remain the parent while still making room for their independence?
Together, we’ll talk honestly about parenting, respect, authority, communication, cultural expectations, and the changing parent-child relationship.
✨ This circle will be facilitated by our newest Hey SAATHI facilitator, Payal Patel, who brings warmth, thoughtfulness, and a genuine passion for creating meaningful conversation.
💛 This is a FREE event. Come as you are. Share as much or as little as you’d like. Bring a friend, spouse, or sibling! All are welcome!
