Inspired by Stephen King and Thomas Harris, Michael Clark specializes in moody, chilling horror. His first three books (The Patience of a Dead Man trilogy) were self-published. His new novel Hell on High is out now from Brigids Gate Press.

Originally from Dover, New Hampshire, Michael now calls Haverhill his home. Like his character Juliana in Hell on High, he speaks some Portuguese and makes yearly visits to Brazil to visit his in-laws.
