We will be meeting at the south end of the park, where the children's playground is. Parking is available along the side of roads: Deep Sea Dr. and South Lake Blvd.
This is the second year that "Grupo Bimbo" has sponsored a P.A.L. event through their terrific “Good Neighbour Program”. This year we hope to leave a legacy behind: a "Lakelands Village Park P.A.L.s" neighbourhood group that will adopt the park and might even create Brampton's first "Litter-free Zone". So our goal this year is to involve as many neighbours in the area as possible and inspire some of them to create a local "P.A.L.s" group.
Like last year, "Grupo Bimbo" will be bringing their A-team looking for a challenge. So let's welcome them the P.A.L. way, with friendly smiles and wide open arms then - - make them work their butts off! lol!
We want this cleanup to be even more fun than our April 19 cleanup last year! I will guarantee warmer weather and no snow like we had last year.
There will be prizes, food and drinks and expect some surprises! Don't miss it!
Pickers will be loaned out and garbage bags supplied.
PLEASE NOTE that it is your responsibility, to study our safety recommendations and use the normal common-sense rules that apply to participation in outings like this. You will be responsible for your own safety and the safety of your children/members you came with!
The following rules and guidelines apply to our P.A.L. group events.
Before attending the cleanup, you must read and agree to the safety information, Waiver and COVID protocols included at the bottom of this page, and by attending the event you are verifying you have done so.
Volunteer safety is the highest priority. A hat to protect the head and goggles to protect the eyes is also recommended and consider the right attire for the weather on the day of the event.
PROPER COVID 19 PROTOCOLS MUST BE FOLLOWED AT ALL TIMES!
