AI in the Workplace: A roundtable on opportunities, challenges, and what’s next for business and employees.
About this Event

This roundtable will explore the role of Artificial Intelligence in today’s workplace. From understanding what AI really is, to seeing how local companies are using it, to preparing our workforce for an AI-driven future. Attendees will gain practical insights, real-world examples, and strategies for thriving in an AI-integrated economy.

What to Expect:

  • AI and You:
    Dr. Kevin Jones, AI Strategist with IU Columbus, will kick things off by breaking down AI, what it is, what it isn't and how it is being used in post-secondary education to prepare students for the workforce.
  • AI in Action Locally:
    Ganesh Gandhieswaran, Co-Founder & CEO of ConverSight, a Decision Intelligence company unifying AI, analytics, and supply chain, will speak on the role of AI within the company, including challenges and lessons learned.
  • AI in Our Future Workforce:
    Sharon Ohman, Senior Industry Advisor, and Jon Reneberg, Lead Digital Manufacturing Specialist with Purdue Manufacturing Extension Partnership, will share how we can equip our community to thrive in an AI-influenced economy.
