Glitter Crush is a collaboration between St. Paul-based performing arts organization Burly Bluffs and Minneapolis-based band Crush Scene for a night celebrating punk music, punk culture, and the art of burlesque. Join these Queer-centered and all-femme groups for a night of liberation on Friday, Jan. 31, 2025 at Amsterdam Bar & Hall in St. Paul, MN.
This 21+ event will feature Twin Cities burlesque performers dancing to live music, courtesy of Crush Scene, followed by a dance party with tunes by a local punk cover band. Guests can also enjoy Amsterdam’s menu and bar, which features the largest selection of gin in the Twin Cities.
We’ll have 250 tickets for sale, including general admission ($10 advance, $15 day of) and VIP tickets ($20 advance, $25 day of).
Show at 8:00pm - Doors will open at 7:00pm! Dance party after the show!
Crush Scene is a self-proclaimed “4 Piece y’allternative cow punk rock band from Minneapolis.” Performing both original and cover songs, this femme-tastic quartet bring both comedic and serious energy to the stage. They have previously done live music for burlesque shows and are excited to work with Burly Bluffs.
Burly Bluffs produces queer-centered, body-positive, anti-oppressive burlesque performance experiences in the Driftless region of Minnesota and beyond. Established in 2022 by St. Paul-based performers Mona RydeHer and GG Delish, Burly Bluffs has produced 16 shows, including two in the Twin Cities (Black Hart and LUSH). Many of these shows sold out and were in collaboration with other producers. They are thrilled to work with Crush Scene for live music!
