Calling all GIRLS who just WANNA HAVE FUN!! (and boys can come too)
Once a month from next Thursday 4th July Misha Bear will be hosting and performing at the Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Ladies Night at Ye Old Orchard, along with a selection of the finest local female talent!
Each artist will perform solo, bringing a fun and engaging combination of originals and covers. Prepare for a musical journey like no other!
This month you can catch:
Kim Lachance:
Kim Lachance is a Montreal artist with a love for rock riffs on the acoustic guitar. Her musical project Two Bad Bricks encompasses influences from bands like Queens of The Stone Age and Soundgarden and incorporates worldly percussion and drum patterns.
Rosa Laiko:
A mix of sweet and spicy, add a teaspoon of hopeless romantic and you get Rosa Laiko. Her influences are Selina Quintanilla, Shakira, Laufey and many more female artists! Are you ready to get in touch with your feelings while celebrating the little things in life? :)
Silka Weil:
Silka Weil's folksy, pop-rock sound draws inspiration from vintage pop and contemporary artists, with a particular affection for late 90's women such as Alanis Morissette, PJ Harvey and Dido.
Misha Bear:
Meet Misha Bear, the talented singer-songwriter hailing from Australia, now calling Montreal home since last June! Misha Bear loves to rock out to likes of Fleetwood Mac, Miley Cyrus and Dolly Parton! Her original music speaks to the soul, effortlessly combining relatable lyrics with infectious tunes.
Come along from 9pm to 12:30am on the 1st Thursday of every month for fun, friendship and fantastic live music!!
