"Getting a Grip on the Basics" Class

This class provides a solid foundation of fundamental doctrines in the Bible such as the plan of God for salvation, the baptism of the Holy Spirit, prayer, healing, serving and much more. This class takes time to dive into what the Bible says about each topic so that the student obtains a clear understanding of basic biblical truths.
This class will be held at:

This class is held once a year. In 2026, the class will be held Sundays, September 6th - December 6th, 2026, 8:45 - 9:30 a.m. There will be NO class on the following dates:
-Sunday, September 20th - New Members Class
Textbook: Getting a Grip on the Basics Workbook
-Available at a discount for registered students at the Spirit of Faith Bookstore
-Please complete Chapter 1 by the first day of class.
Attendance Policy:
-Students are only allowed to miss two classes in order to receive credit for the class.
-If you would like to join after the class has started, and you will miss more than two classes, you are welcome to join and receive the teaching from the Word, but you will not receive a certificate of attendance.
-In order to receive a certificate, you will need to retake the class when it’s offered again and meet the attendance requirements.
-This class is a requirement for SOFFC Helps Ministry.
Childcare:
-Childcare is not provided; however, you may bring your children.
-Please have a quiet activity to occupy them during class.
