"Get Up and Get Down" Aerial Performance at The Marsh Studio

Over the years, members of Canopy’s Repertory Company have made the pilgrimage to the Georgia coast, performing in various shows, most recently in the “Love and Friendship Tour” in the Fall of 2022 and pre-pandemic “Duets from the Heart” in the fall of 2019 - the last live performances to be held at The Marsh Studio before the COVID-19 pandemic. “Get Up and Get Down” is a revival of Canopy’s Musical Revue coupled with reflection of our connections with each other, there truly will be something for everyone, the raucous celebration of sass of Broadway’s Six to the growth of love from Hadestown. Susan Murphy’s own two pieces will explore the connection of her hands as she recovers from injury to take the stage as well as connection to the people around her and the very definition of community.
