"From the Frontline to the Forefront-A Journey Through American Justice"

Join the Boston (MA) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi, Fraternity, Inc. for “From the Frontline to the Forefront: A Journey Through American Justice.” Dr. Larome Myrick, Executive Director of Juvenile Justice for the Rhode Island Department of Children, Youth and Families, will be the featured speaker. Dr. Myrick’s fireside chat will focus on his career trajectory as a criminal justice professional. Beginning with his position as a correctional officer, Dr. Myrick will chronicle how he rose in his field through the ranks to management to his current position. Having worked in both adult and youth correction systems, he will draw particular attention to how policy decisions and systemic challenges influence the efficacy of various models of reform and rehabilitation.
