Puddingstone Music returns to Belmont Chapel with harpist Amanda Romano Foreman and flutist Clint Foreman for an afternoon of musical color and artistry. “From Salon to Tango” is a program that journeys from the elegance of 18th century salons to the passionate rhythms of the modern tango. Bringing together the beautiful sonorities of flute and harp, the duo will explore works by J.S. Bach, Gioachino Rossini, Charles Rochester Young, Vincent Persichetti, and Astor Piazzolla.
The concert will take place at Belmont Chapel in Newport on Sunday, March 8 at 3:00pm.
This musical salon offers an intimate yet vibrant afternoon celebrating the richness and variety of musical styles across centuries and continents, all within the breathtaking beauty of Newport’s historic Belmont Chapel.
