Bring your littles to join PurYoga Teacher and former Preschool and Elementary School Teacher Bridget Tsikouris to practice yoga and move everything from head to toe!Children will explore yoga poses through play, songs, and the story, “From Head to Toe” by Eric Carle. We will practice opposites, positional words, as well as naming/identifying body parts. There will be opportunities for centering, breathwork, yoga pose exploration, sun salutation practice, a small craft, and end in a short relaxation time.
All children will get to pick a Breathing Buddy to use at the end of the workshop and take home with them to continue their yoga practice together.
This workshop is developmentally and age-appropriate for preschool-aged yogis, ages 3-5 years old. No prior yoga experience is needed.
Practicing yoga at a young age can:

Balance energy, improving the ability to be less reactive
Build self-esteem and confidence
Develop discipline and self-control
