"Friendsgiving" at Ocean View Park - Invasive Species removal
Advertisement
🍂 It's Thanksgiving weekend, and we're saying thanks the way we know best: by spending a morning caring for a park we love.
Bring a friend, a neighbour or the whole family to Ocean View Park for an easy, friendly work party. Depending on the size of our group we'll do some Ivy removal, go on a search for some Daphne and maybe even tackle some blackberries. It'll be a "choose your own adventure" with something suitable for everyone.
What to know
- Tools, training and treats provided
- Gentle terrain and all ages welcome
- Wear layers and closed-toe shoes
- Come for the full two hours or whatever you can give
To help us plan for tools and treats, please consider clicking "Going" or comment "I'm in".
Meet at the shelter and Look for the Friends of Colwood Parks signs.
